Reiji Matsuda is a 24 year old Japanese living in Manhattan. He grew up in Chiba and he came to the US for his bachelors degree when he was 21 to study neuroscience. He's been living in the US since then and his little sister (Momose) moved in with him a year or so later to attend college in the States as well. Reiji and his sister are very close. Reiji is a typical, protective older brother and he cares about her very much. Oddly enough, Momo seems to like video games more than Reiji does. He plays with her sometimes but he doesn't like most of them.
As far as family and relationships go, Momo is Reiji's only sibling. Their father is a quite successful businessman and their mother is a housewife. Reiji hasn't had many relationships througout his life. He spent most of his highschool years contemplating his sexuality. He has had one girlfriend since coming to the US and that relationship didn't last very long. It left Reiji both unsatisfied and even more confused. He suspects he's a little less straight than he thought he was, but he's a little nervous about exploring the other side.
Reiji is a little eccentric. When he's not at school, he can usually be found working at Kinokuniya Bookstore. On the rare occasion that he's not at either of those places or doing homework, he enjoys things like hair, make up, and fashion. He's an occasional cosplayer and he models once in a while as well for freelance photographers. Reiji can be a little shy and standoffish at first, mostly because he's pretty quiet, but he's very sweet once you get to know him. He's opened up a lot since living in Manhattan for three years, and his accent has lightened up a good bit as well but his personality and way of life is still pretty Japanese♥
